Social Engagement
We are committed to many different social activities and associations. Therefore we assume responsibility for sustainability of our actions – not only on environmental and entrepreneurial scale, but also in a social framework. We are supporting:
- The Fördergemeinschaft Kinderkrebs-Zentrum Hamburg e. V.
For many years, the Kinderkrebs-Zentrum Hamburg has been particularly close to our heart. In Germany, approximately 2,000 children and adolescents fall ill with cancer every year - the most common forms are blood cancer (leukaemia), tumours of the lymphatic tissue and brain tumours. We would like to support the Fördergemeinschaft Kinderkrebs-Zentrum Hamburg e.V. in its great, honourable work and the goal of standing by the children and their families in this stressful time and decisively improving their living situation with the support projects.
- Tree sponsorship
In cooperation with the organization Plant for the Planet, we - Möllering and TSW - have taken on a tree sponsorship for 2,000 trees. This planting project is being implemented on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Trees clean our air by storing CO2 and generating new oxygen. However, 46% of the worldwide tree population has already been destroyed. With our tree donation we want to set an example and at the same time contribute to a CO2 reduction of 20 tons per year.
- The Aktion Mensch
True to the motto "Das WIR gewinnt", we support Aktion Mensch, the largest private funding organization in Germany dedicated to inclusion in the social sector.
