New ride, same mission: driving sustainability forward
As another step of our sustainability strategy, we have expanded our fleet: since this week, our new E-Sprinter has been in operation.
The fully electric vehicle not only replaces our previous diesel Sprinter but also a 7.5-ton diesel truck. The eSprinter will be used for regional transport in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. With a range of around 325 km, it is ideally suited to handle our regional deliveries efficiently while significantly reducing emissions.
A particular advantage: the electricity for our new vehicle is largely generated on-site. Thanks to our already installed 450 kWp photovoltaic system, we can cover a large share of the charging process directly with solar energy.
And even when the sun in northern Germany takes a break, we remain committed to sustainable operations: since the beginning of this year, we have been sourcing 100% green electricity from renewable energy sources.
For us, sustainability is not a single project but a continuous process.
The new eSprinter is another step on this journey — and certainly not the last.
