In order to tailor the plastics individually to customer requirements and the respective application, plastics can also be used in a modified version with fillers. Plastics offer a number of decisive advantages, such as good demoldability, low specific weight, individual coloring options and very good chemical resistance.
Decorative profiles for use on machine surfaces are also possible, such as chrome-like surfaces or surfaces with a wood look.
Production of the plastic profiles in the extrusion process
On request, we can also make our profiles self-adhesive. Self-adhesive plastic profiles are particularly suitable for facilitating product handling and assembly work. The desired adhesive strength can be defined by carefully selecting the self-adhesive tape.
The plastic profiles are manufactured using the extrusion process. In addition to mono-extrusion, we also offer the option of producing profiles using the co-extrusion process. This enables us to create profiles made from different materials or hardnesses.
The plastic profiles are produced endlessly in the extrusion process. The granulate is first plasticized in the extruders and then sucked in by attached extrusion tools. Mouthpieces, molded into the desired shape in the machine’s extrusion head. Due to the freely adaptable mouthpieces, different profile cross-sections and accordingly the desired geometries can be realized. The profile is then dimensionally stabilized by cooling the material.
More edits
After this production, the profile can be wound into the desired lengths or cut to your desired length with our highly efficient cutting machines. Further processing such as perforations or mechanical modifications are partly possible in-line.
We can manufacture all profiles individually and customer-specifically both as a one-off production and as a small series.
