Constantly increasing demands on molded parts made of elastomers and thermoplastics, which are used in all areas of industry, have brought our own tool and mold making to the current level and made it an integral part of the company. The injection molding tools are the decisive factor for the quality of the products and crucial for efficient production processes. That is why we rely on the continuous expansion of our own tool shop in order to guarantee our customers the desired high quality.
Production of molds for the production of injection molded parts
In our tool shop we manufacture the molds that are required for the production of your injection molded part. Starting with product-specific advice, through our own construction, to production on the most modern CNC-controlled machine tools, we offer complete problem solutions.
In addition to single-component tools, we also offer multi-component tools – individually tailored to your requirements with the highest precision, quality and cost efficiency.
Production optimization in toolmaking – everything from a single source
Settling toolmaking and injection molding at one location gives you the advantage of short distances and direct communication with your contact persons. This means that we can work out optimization suggestions, especially for new projects, and implement them quickly in order to ensure process reliability, cost optimization and part quality.
The special know-how for the development of your injection molded part remains in the company throughout the entire process chain – from the prototype produced in the rapid prototyping process, through tool construction, to the finished series part. To create the injection molds, we combine our experience from both mold construction and production optimization.
We also take over the optimal maintenance and repair of the tools during the entire production process and beyond. This also includes the proper storage of the individual tools between productions. We can therefore guarantee a long service life and low downtime.
3D printing in toolmaking
The 3D printing manufacturing process also falls within our area of expertise. Polyjet technology is used to manufacture tool inserts for the injection molding of items with a part weight of up to approx. 100 g and primarily in smaller quantities.
The production of injection molded items using Polyjet mold inserts is a new challenge for our company. With this technology, liquid photopolymer is hardened by UV light in the layer construction process. The production of complex geometries and thin walls can be implemented with this process. With different materials, requirements such as outstanding dimensional stability and elastic properties can be achieved. The maximum installation space is 255x252x200 mm.
For our customers, the production of tool inserts using 3D printing offers the advantage that high-precision items can be manufactured more economically in small quantities, since no costly tool inserts have to be made of steel. You define the requirements – we implement the technically and economically best way.
