The injection molding process of plastic molded parts
For the production of plastic molded parts we use the injection molding process. The plastics are thermoplastics. Unlike molded rubber parts, thermoplastic materials are melted and injected into a tempered, mostly cold mold. There the injection molded parts cool down for a short time and harden before they are removed. The removal process from the machine is fully or semi-automatic. Our machines are equipped with automated handling systems for this purpose. In addition, 2-component injection molding is the ideal technology for realizing possible combinations of the individual materials. Two different plastics, e.g. hard-soft components, can be processed in one operation to ensure a secure, non-positive connection.
