Plastic molded parts produced with plastic injection molding have become indispensable in everyday use because of their malleability, low weight and recyclability.

Plastics have long found their way into our daily use, not only as a cost-effective replacement for metal parts, but also because of their excellent formability, weight savings, recyclability and various technical properties such as elasticity, E-modulus and the electrical behavior. Our plastic injection molded parts are used in a wide variety of industries, such as mechanical and plant engineering, electrical and household appliance industries, aviation, medical technology and logistics.

The injection molding process of plastic molded parts

For the production of plastic molded parts we use the injection molding process. The plastics are thermoplastics. Unlike molded rubber parts, thermoplastic materials are melted and injected into a tempered, mostly cold mold. There the injection molded parts cool down for a short time and harden before they are removed. The removal process from the machine is fully or semi-automatic. Our machines are equipped with automated handling systems for this purpose. In our assembly department, which was created in the course of the new building, we can also supply fully assembled assemblies that are ready for immediate use

The 2-component injection molding process for plastic molded parts

In addition, 2-component injection molding is the ideal technology for realizing possible combinations of the individual materials. Two different plastics, e.g. hard-soft components, can be processed in one operation to ensure a secure, non-positive connection.

Materials in plastic injection molding

Thermoplastic materials can be used in their pure form or in a modified version, e.g. B. reinforced with glass fiber or glass beads. You can get an overview of our thermoplastic materials here: click. Well-known thermoplastic materials include:

  • PA (polyamide)
  • TPE (thermoplastic elastomers)
  • TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane)
  • PVC (polyvinyl chloride)
  • ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer)
  • PP (polypropylene)
  • PC (polycarbonate)
  • PS (polystyrene)
  • PEEK (polyaryletherketone)
  • PET (polyethylene terephthalate)
  • PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate)
  • POM (polyoxymethylene)
  • PPE (polyphenylene ether)
  • PPS (polyphenylene sulfide)

In addition, 2-component injection molding is the ideal technology for realizing possible combinations of the individual materials. We design the mixture according to your requirements! In addition to advising and developing your plastic molded part, we can also offer you the assembly of complete assemblies.
