Waterjet technology enables maximum precision for complicated parts with the highest dimensional accuracy and the smallest tolerances.

Waterjet cutting is a cutting technology that uses a high-pressure water jet to separate materials. The pressure of the water jet can reach up to 5000 bar. The water jet leaves clean cut edges and protects the material without causing any significant structural changes, cracking or deformation. As a cold cutting process, cutting is particularly environmentally friendly and free of emissions that are harmful to health.

Waterjet cutting precision

Do you need drawing parts made of cellular or solid elastomer or plastic? With water jet cutting, the water jet cuts precisely through even the strongest materials with a pressure of up to 5,000 bar. The cut is very precise, so that complicated parts can be manufactured with the highest dimensional accuracy and the smallest tolerances. In contrast to conventional punching technology, cut surfaces with water jet cutting are never concave, but always one hundred percent right-angled under all circumstances.

Advantages of waterjet cutting

Above all, the time and cost savings are an important advantage. Drawing parts can be water jet cut in a few seconds. There are also no tool costs, since waterjet cutting only requires programming and machine settings. Both small and large quantities can be realized. Also significant is the low material waste during water jet cutting due to minimal parting lines.
