“HOW from a mold”? That’s right, we offer you the option of producing silicone sleeves in all dimensions from batch size 1.
As a rule, molds are required for silicone cuffs. However, this first requires an investment in the mold, which is often not economical, especially for small quantities. Nevertheless, the mechanical demands on the silicone sleeves should often not be underestimated, which means that glued connections do not qualify as a permanent solution.
We have therefore specialized in the hot vulcanization of silicone sleeves. We can produce different material thicknesses from sheets and rolls or cut them to the thickness you require. Thanks to our special pressing technology, we can produce irreversible connections as if they were made in a mold. This allows us to create a cost-effective alternative without compromising on the mechanical properties of the silicone sleeves.
The silicone sleeves are used in a wide range of applications, including industrial applications such as in the food and beverage industry, medical technology and many other areas where heat resistance, flexibility and tightness are required. The material impresses with its FDA conformity. Silicone rubber is particularly characterized by its good resistance to heat (+200°C), ozone, ageing and chemicals. We process silicone rubber in a Shore hardness range of 10-80 Shore A.
