Thermoplastics are widely used due to their cheap production, long service life and wide range of uses.

Many tasks and requirements in the technical field can often be solved simply by selecting the right material. Therefore, we offer materials and material combinations in the most diverse specifications for our customers. Our production program includes thermoplastics, elastomers and foams, adhesives and special polymers.

You can find more information about thermoplastics here: Our list of thermoplastics and our list of thermoplastic characterics.

WE GIVE YOUR PRODUCTS SHAPE AND BRING YOUR VISIONS INTO PLASTIC

Thermoplastics are non-crosslinked polymer materials. A distinction is made between amorphous and semi-crystalline thermoplastics. The properties of thermoplastics depend on the type and arrangement of the atoms involved in the structure, the crystallinity and the type of processing. They can be welded and hot formed. As a rule, thermoplastics can be plasticized again and again and brought into a different shape.

Here you will find a brief overview of the thermoplastic materials used and their properties for download. You can also download information on the chemical resistance of thermoplastic materials here as a PDF.

Advantages of thermoplastics

Thermoplastics offer a whole range of advantages. The advantages of injection molded materials are:

  • Low specific weight
  • Excellent chemical resistance
  • Various shaping possibilities
  • High strength
  • A wide variety of material modifications, e.g. reinforced with glass fibers or glass beads
  • Very good value for money

  • 2-component technology enables different materials to be combined in one component. Two different plastics, for example hard-soft components, are processed in one operation to ensure a secure, non-positive connection.
  • Insertion of inserts. Insert parts made of plastic or other materials are positioned in the mold before the injection molding process so that they are permanently connected to the injection material.
  • Finishing of the products. We print, paint, chrome or electroplate the surfaces according to your wishes.

AREAS OF APPLICATION FOR THERMOPLASTICS

Thermoplastics are characterized, among other things, by excellent formability, weight savings, recyclability, elasticity and electrical conductivity. In addition, there is a significant savings potential due to lower unit costs. Our products made of thermoplastic are used in numerous industries, e.g.:

  • Mechanical and plant engineering
  • Electrical and household appliance industry
  • Rehab Industry
  • Medical technology
  • Construction industry
